Fishbowl World

"Fishbowl World" explores the idea of shifting perspective, turning a vast lake into a contained, miniature space. I started by imagining the sensation of becoming larger than the world around me, where water, fish, and movement feel effortlessly within reach. Using acrylics on canvas, I built layers of rich blues and fluid brushstrokes to create a balance between depth and intimacy. As the painting developed, the contrast between scale and detail became central—blurring the line between reality and fantasy. The final touches bring a dreamlike quality to the scene, inviting viewers to step into a space where size is fluid, and the impossible feels natural.
