Drive to Freedom

Drive to Freedom explores the feeling of breaking free, using the motion of a car and the rush of wind as symbols of escape. I started with a simple sketch to shape the composition, focusing on movement and energy. Acrylics allowed me to build depth, starting with muted tones to reflect constraint, then layering in bold, sweeping strokes of color to create a sense of release. As the painting took shape, the wind became more than just a force—it carried away weight and worry, turning the scene into one of liberation. The final details bring out the speed and exhilaration of the moment, capturing the pure joy of letting go.
